No, you do not need to file income tax return by 7 July if you are with us as your tax agent. Tax agents often have large numbers of clients so it would be unrealistic to expect them to file all returns by 7 July. Thus, IRD allows qualified tax agents to have a time extension to file income tax returns by 31 March 2021. You also get an extension on tax payment from 7 February to 7 April.
