Most traditional accounting firms are charging between $3000-5000 per annum, and some are charging even higher. On top of an expensive accounting fee. They will charge extra fees for Xero setup, conversion, training and monthly subscription. Even answering questions is billed hourly. This is why Consol has stepped in to disrupt the traditional accounting model!

Our accountants work efficiently across the country from any location with an internet connection rather than constantly needing to run between offices and client meetings. This allows us to spend more time taking care of your tax filing obligations without being stuck behind a desk. Because of this we don’t need to spend your money on expensive offices throughout the country as we can manage the entire company from a single office in Auckland.

Your dedicated accountant will provide unlimited support and advice on any issues related to tax, accounting, or your Xero account. Our preferred method of communication is via email; however, if you need an urgent assistance, feel free to give us a call at any time.

If you require a task out of our scope, such as preparing financial statements or working out new tax structures, we will let you any extra costs incurred before we start.

Consol provides exceptional quality accounting & tax compliance service in a reasonable fixed annual/monthly fee, and we rarely charge extra for going beyond the call of duty, however, fair use policy applies. Your fixed fee will not cover unreasonable requests.

Yes! We pay monthly subscription for Xero Non-GST and GST Cashbook editions for our clients. However, if you want to upgrade to a higher Xero plans such as the Starter, Standard or Premium plan we will reimburse the difference.
